The current political situations in state are not so promising for film business to flourish. With many small and medium films getting ready for release in coming one to two weeks, the tabling of Telangana Bill in Parliament is sure to affect the release dates of respective films. As per the current update, ‘Basanti’ of Brahmanandam’s son Gautam in direction of Chaitanya Dantuluri slated for a grand release in last week of February is now shifted to March.

In fact Brahmi, Gautham and Chaitanya had lots of hopes on the film. Taking a big break after first two dud films, Gautham is now called to be a matured actor and Chaitanya is also an intellectual director whose taking was appreciated by one and all for debut ‘Baanam’ of Nara Rohit. Under the political chaos in State, they have taken a good decision to wait for a while without hurrying for a release.
