'Gabbar' Sentiment for Shruti

Undoubtedly, the touch of Pawan Kalyan and the magic around ‘Gabbar Singh’ changed the life of heroine Shruti Hasan. The actress rated as iron leg till the happening of ‘Gabbar Singh’ has also lied down with disastrous flops from the early career days. Thankfully, Shruti is getting one more project of the same title in Hindi and it is ‘Gabbar,’ starring Akshay Kumar in male lead to be directed by Krrish as remake of Telugu super hit ‘Tagore’ or say ‘Raman’ in Tamil, directed by AR Murugadoss.

Initially, producers thought of roping in Shraddha Kapoor and then opted even for Kareena Kapoor. But, things changed when non-availability of their call sheets indirectly helped Shruti to bag the big project. As per B-town reports, producers approached Shruti and she signed on the dotted lines with shooting schedules to begin sometime in early next year.
