Ever since 'Magadheera' went on an industry hit, there has been a big debate on the success credit of the movie. While some people say ace director SS Rajamouli's extraordinary direction skills and his 'no flop' track record made the movie an industry hit, some more people say, Mega Power Star Ram Charan gets the major credit of the hit. To defend their argument they say, till the release of 'Magadheera', Rajamouli had no Rs.30 crores movie, but 'Magadheera' collected Rs.87 crores share with the support of mega fans. Moreover, Ram Charan's horse riding skills turned out one of the major factors of the hit.
Later, Rajamouli proved that he could give hits to either the small hero Sunil or with an insect 'Eega'( House Fly) as the protagonist. On the other side, Ram Charan proved that he could make the movies with average substance to blockbuster levels and they are 'Rachcha' and 'Naayak'.
And now, Rajamouli aimed at breaking his own records of 'Magadheera' with his new project 'Baahubali'. With an estimation of Rs.100+ crores as the movie's budget, Rajamouli is sincerely trying to make 'Baahubali' as a landmark film. Having known the way the movie 'Baahubali' targeted 'Magadheera', Ram Charan also gossiped to have decided to do a period movie, as we recently heard this Hindi-Telugu bilinugual movie would likely to be directed by Ashutosh Gowaiker. This kind of interesting competition among tollywood bigwigs, ultimately, inspires the movie makers to produce quality enriched movies.
