Having kept mum after the announcement of Telangana state, finally, the Chief Minister Mr.N.Kiran Kumar Reddy appeared before media after nine days. He expressed his concern over for dividing the state. He affirmed that he gave a letter to the President of AICC, Mrs Sonia Gandhi seeking United State. He made it clear that the late CM of the state, YS Rajasekhar Reddy initiated Telangana movement as he,himself, took 40 MLAs to Delhi in the year, 2001. He also revealed that the TDP head, Mr.N.Chandrababu Naidu gave his willingness letter for separate state in the year 2008. 

Meanwhile, the CM has admitted that he would neither support nor deny with the decision made by CWC. He mocked at KCR, as the latter boasted to bring electricity from Chhattisgarh in future. The CM disclosed that there is no grid connectivity between AP and Chhattisgarh state. However, it appeared that the CM has no interest to tender his resignation due to the bifurcation of the state.
