Nag Against Healthy Trend?

The day when 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' was launched, Puri Jagannadh announced the release date of the movie as 18th October. Finally, the makers have been success in releasing the movie on time. On the other hand, King Nagarjuna's socio fantasy entertainer 'Damarukam' has been being canned for a long time. At last, the makers have decided to release the movie on 19th October, the very next day after the release of CGR.

We are witnessing for the past one to two years, a healthy trend has been emerged. As per this, no two big movies are to be released on the same day or consecutive days. At least one week gap is being maintained by the big producers for the releases of their movies. Only, Pongal is given an exception as the festival offers additional advantage to the movies released for that season. Flat rates of tickets and extra shows can be screened for Pongal and this facility may not be seen in other seasons including Dasara. That is why two or more movies can be released in this season.

Knowing all these facts, Nagarjuna is still getting ready to take on CGR by releasing his 'Damarukam' the very next day after the release of CGR. Though he might be confident of his movie,  certainly his gesture is sending wrong signals to the trade sources that he is against the healthy big releases trend of tollywood.
