Eega: Good Film & Not A Big Film

Rajamouli’s adventurous project ‘Eega’ is welcomed grandly by South audience. Top celebrities through out Indian film industry praised Rajamouli for the dedication and hard work put into happening of this project. Yes, that is why ‘Eega’ is addressed as a path breaking and more obviously a good film by any measures. But, what ‘Eega’ missed from competing with top most BO hits of Tollywood is absence of Star Hero.

Yes, Rajamouli’s stamp value worked wonders initially but as the movie is traveling into fourth week, there are reports of collections falling down tremendously. Perhaps, those analysts who compared ‘Eega’ with the range of ‘Magadheera, Gabbar Singh and Dookudu’ are biting their tongues understanding the value of Star Power in Telugu cinema. So, ‘Eega’ will end up only as one more ‘Good’ Film from Rajamouli and not as ‘Big’ as his past Hit flicks.
