We often hear, Power Star Pawan Kalyan is an honest person. However, some people those who don't know much deeper about movies might wonder with this statement on Pawan Kalyan. Here, we are going to show one of the proofs which shows how honest and humble he is.

On 11th January, 2001, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Narasimha Naidu' was released and proved to be an industry hit by beating the shares of previous industry hit movie, 'Samarasimha Reddy'. On a whole, the movie collected a share of Rs.20 crores. It ran 50 days in 124 centers, 100 days in 98 direct centers(in ads, it is 104) and 175 days in 17 direct centers.

On 27th April, 2001, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi' was released. This movie proved to be even more bigger industry hit than 'Narasimha Naidu' and collected a total of Rs.24 crores share. The movie ran 50 days in 102 centers. In long run too, the movie collected amazing collections. At that time, the producer of the movie, A.M.Ratnam wanted to run the movie in all 102 centers to beat the 100 days record of 'Narasimha Naidu'. However, Pawan Kalyan didn't accept to this proposal and the movie's 100 days centers were restricted to only 73 direct centers. Pawan thought it's false prestige, going for 'run' records.

* Can you guess how many town records set by the movie Kushi, in those 73 direct 100 days? It's 68. On the other hand, Narasimha Naidu created town records in just 30+ centers among its 98 direct hundred days centers. Meanwhile, 'Kushi's' industry hit share record was later beaten by Chiranjeevi with his 'Indra'. He also broke the 'run' records set by Balakrishna.
