It was 24th July, 1998. Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Tholiprema' was released with no expectations. The movie received unanimous hit talk at the end of its morning shows screenings. More than a blockbuster, the movie became a trendsetter for tollywood then.

It was 27th August, 1998. Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Choodalani vundi' was released amidst great expectations from the fans. Finally, the movie turned out to be a blockbuster. The gap between 'Tholiprema' and 'Choodalani Vundi' was just 5 weeks. This has been a rare record to have set by mega heroes in a short gap.

5th April, 2012. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Rachcha' was released with a lot of hype and hoopla. The movie received positive talk on day one and eventually, the movie has proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Currently, the movie is racing ahead to cross the mark of Rs.50 crores share. On the other hand, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' movie is releasing on either 9th or 11th of May. So, the gap between both the movies is just 5 weeks similar to that of the gap between 'Tholiprema' and 'Choodalani Vundi' in 1998. With positive buzz prevails everywhere, 'Gabbar Singh' is likely to stand another blockbuster movie this year. If it really happens, mega family will repeat the magic again what they did it in the year, 1998.
