Is this the reason Thalaivar 173 director changed. Thalaivar 173 happens to be the most awaited and most exciting project as it brings back Super Star Rajinikanth and Universal Hero Kamal Haasan together. While Rajinikanth is playing the lead role, Kamal Haasan is bankrolling the project in a prestigious manner under his Raaj Kamal Films.

The makers first roped in C.Sundar for the project but he opted out and they roped in Cibi Chakravarthi. When many expected the film to have a smooth flow, the exit of Cibi Chakravarthi came as a shock. Now, inside talk is the makers are planning to rope in Ashwath Marimuthu as the director.

Sources say that Cibi was earlier supposed to direct Nani and the project did not take off. The producer of that project spent a whopping amount and is keen to collaborate with Thalaivar 173. As this did not materialise, it led to Cibi Charavarthi opt out of the project.
