Thaman or DSP for Balakrishna Koratala Siva Movie NBK112 Music

There is big talk in Tollywood about who will give music for Balakrishna’s next film with Koratala Siva. The movie is called NBK112 and it was announced recently. In the last few years, Thaman has been the main music director for Balakrishna films. He gave hit songs and strong background scores for Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, Bhagavanth Kesari, Daaku Maharaj and Akhanda 2.

Thaman is also doing Balakrishna’s current film with Gopichand Malineni. Fans love this combo because Thaman understands Balakrishna’s mass image very well. That is why many people feel Thaman should continue for NBK112 too. But Koratala Siva has never worked with Thaman before. For his first four films Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, and Bharat Ane Nenu, he picked Devi Sri Prasad.

For Acharya he went with Mani Sharma, and for Devara he chose Anirudh Ravichander. So the director usually has his own music choices. Now the team has to decide if they will go with Balakrishna’s favorite Thaman or stick to Koratala’s past partners. Right now, going back to Mani Sharma looks difficult. Anirudh is also busy with many big films and charges very high fees, so he may not be free.

That leaves two main names on the table, Thaman and DSP. If Koratala picks Thaman, it will be their first film together and Balakrishna’s hit track record with him will continue. If he picks DSP, fans can expect strong mass songs like before. There is also a small chance the makers may surprise everyone with a new composer, but that looks unlikely for such a big film. The official announcement on the music director is still pending. Trade circles say the team will lock it soon after the script work is done.
