Vijay Victory Halted, Who gets it Started

Thalapathy Vijay's juggernaut steamrolled the two Dravidian Parties DMK and AIADMK and at one stage it looked like his TVK will get a simple majority.
Even before the counting concluded many hailed Vijay and compared him with legends like MGR and NTR. But his party for all its stupendous performance fell short of ten seats for simple majority.
Now all eyes are on as to which parties will support Vijay and whose support he will take. During the election campaigning Vijay attacked both DMK and AIADMK. Now Congress and PMK offered support to Vijay but they are seeking two ministries each in return. Still Vijay will fall short of two seats.
Vijay before the elections meet Rahul Gandhi and offered to have pre poll alliance but Congress chose to go with DMK. He can't seek DMK support and. BJP has only 1 member. He can enter into alliance with AIADMK, and as BJP is ruling the centre he will be free from all troubles. However if he goes with Congress, trouble may haunt him.
Comparing Vijay's victory with that of MGR and NTR is belittling the legends. The political situation then was different to that of now. Tamil Nadu had a void and people started looking for alternative and he made use of it. None of these celebrities dared to enter politics in Tamil Nadu even Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa were calling the shots. MGR with his glamour and Dravidian ideology launched ADMK and NTR created a sensation with his TDP coming to power with in 9 months of launching the party.
Vijay despite the void failed to get even the simple majority. With the incomplete verdict, Vijay's future is not all rosy but will be full of dangerous thorns. His TVK has no political ideology and till now he didn't place his plans infront of the people. He banked only on film dialogues and his glamour. MGR, NTR launched many pro poor schemes and they included 2kg rice for the poor and mid day meals.
Vijay has lot to prove himself before taking a place on the side of the legends. He should ensure these he gives five years of good governance to the people of Tamil Nadu.
