Peddi not meant for Ram Charan

 Ram Charan's film Peddi directed by Buchi Babu Sana is releasing on 30 April 2026. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu in important roles with Rahman being the music director.

Expectations are high on the project as Buchi Babu Sana on debut captured the imagination of all with Uppena. Now it is coming out that Buchi Babu Sana after readying the story of Peddi narrated it to NTR. However NTR couldn't take the project forward as he is busy with his upcoming projects.

Then he narrated the story to Allu Arjun. Even Allu Arjun did not show interest in the project as he was busy with pan India projects. Buchi Babu Sana even narrated the story to Suriya. However for some reason Suriya also couldn't take the project forward. Then Buchi Babu Sana approached Ram Charan through his mentor Sukumar.

Ram Charan loved the story and readily gave green signal.
