The highly anticipated film RC17, starring Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar, is generating immense buzz. According to reports, the team may release a first look glimpse of the movie on Charan's birthday, March 27.
RC17 is expected to be a big budget venture, presenting Charan in a gritty, intense avatar. This marks the second collaboration between Charan and Sukumar, following the blockbuster Rangasthalam in 2018. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Meanwhile, Charan's rural sports drama Peddi has been postponed to April 30, 2026. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, features Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Boman Irani, and Divyenndu in key roles. RC17 is scheduled to begin production later this year, with filming expected to start after Charan wraps up Peddi.
RC17 is tentatively scheduled for release in the last quarter or November 12, 2026, according to various reports. But, considering Sukumar's style of filming, the film will make it way to theatres in Summer 2027.
