Prabhas turns the savior of The Raja Saab producer

Prabhas' first ever hilarious horror thriller The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi which released ahead of Sankranti on 9 Jan 2026 turned out to be a colossal disaster.

Producer TG.Vishwa Prasad made the film with huge budget on People Media Factory. Though the concept seemed good, casting three heroines without the need for them, the missing old look of Prabhas, played the spoilsport.

Though based on the feedback, the makers made changes in the second half, it couldn't retrieve the situation. People Media Factory suffered around Rs 200crs and in the midst of all this, Prabhas came forward to save the producers.

He promised to do a film for People Media Factory and gave his word to TG.Vishwa Prasad accordingly. He asked him to select a suitable story and a director and meet him accordingly.

At the same time, Prabhas ensured that the rights of his upcoming film Spirit with Sandeep Vanga be given to TG.Vishwa Prasad of The People Media Factory. Prabhas did not receive full remuneration for The Raja Saab and has taken only token advance and with the film turning out to be a disaster, Prabhas did not persist on his remuneration.
