Sensational amount for The Raja Saab OTT deal

Prabhas' upcoming entertainer The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi is racing for a grand release on 9 Jan 2026.

Expectations are high on the project as Prabhas is doing the horror genre for the first time in his career. Prabhas is romancing hot beauties Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Nidhii Agerwal.

Now, rumours are spreading about the film's OTT deal. Inside talk is the OTT deal has been closed for a record Rs 160crs. A source shares . “The film would fetch around Rs 160 crore, including Hindi and Telugu digital rights, which is the highest-ever price for a Telugu film,”

The source elaborated “Prabhas films are no longer region-specific. Even top OTT platforms don’t mind paying premium prices because he attracts viewers across the globe,”

He continued “While digital deals have become difficult for lesser-known actors, the top four or five Telugu stars are way ahead of the rest.”

The source shared “In The Raja Saab, he will be seen in varied shades, ranging from a lighter vein to a fiery avatar,” Producer TG.Vishwa Prasad is holding discussions with the distributors for the theatrical rights and many say it may touch Rs 200crs.

The source adds “Prabhas films like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD fetched between Rs 140 crore and Rs 160 crore in the Telugu states. People Media Factory is keen to break old records and set a new benchmark that reflects Prabhas’ growing stature,”
