Varanasi to strike a sensational OTT deal. Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu's Varanasi is the most anticipated project across the world. The film stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles and it is progressing at a brisk pace.

In the meantime, reports are coming that the makers are getting extravagant offers from the top OTTs to ink the digital streaming deal. A source says "streaming platforms are considering paying big bucks for the film’s digital rights, equivalent to those for any Hollywood movie. The final figure can even go as high as ₹1000 crore."

The film's story is penned by Vijayendra Prasad and Deva Katta is providing additional screenplay and dialogues. The music for the film is tuned by Keeravani. The film is produced by KL.Narayana on Sri Durga Arts banner.

The film will be screened across the world in an extravagant manner in the exotic and beautiful locations. The makers shot key scenes in Hyderabad and then  Tanzania, Kenya and Odisha etc.
