Natasimha Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 is racing for a spectacular release on 5 December 2025. Expectations are high on the project as it is the sequel to the hit film Akhanda.

The film is releasing even in Hindi language as the first part's Hindi version got tremendous response on the small screen. According to the latest, the film completed its censor formalities.

Censor Board members watched the film and awarded U/A certificate and cleared decks for the theatrical release. Censor Board members enjoyed the film as the film had spiritual elements and sent powerful message over Sanatana Dharma. Balakrishna terrific performance in dual roles, interval bang, powerful dialogues, breathtaking actionn sequences and Aadi Pinisetty's performance as the villian are touted to be the highlight.

Thaman's background music turned out to the highlight. The film stars Samyutka as the female lead. The film stars Harshali Malhotra in an important role. The film is bankrolled on 14 Reels Plus banner.
