Andhra King Taluka - Upendra not the first choice

Ram's Andhra King Taluka directed by P.Mahesh Babu of Miss Shetty Mr.Polishetty fame which released on 27 November 2025 is getting rave reviews from all quarters.

The film starred Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and Sandalwood Star Upendra in an important role. Now inside talk is Upendra was not the first choice for the role.

Sources say Tollywood stars rejected the role and the makers then contacted Upendra who readily agreed for the role. The makers contacted Natasimham Balakrishna for the all important role. But inside talk is Balakrishna couldn't do the role though he liked it due to his busy schedule.

The film also starred Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, VTV Ganesh, and others in important roles with the music tuned by Vivek-Mervin. Siddharth Nuni handled the cinematography for the film produced on  Mythri Movie Makers banner.
