Reason behind The Raja Saab OTT deal delay

Prabhas' first ever hilarious horror entertainer The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi is slated for a spectacular release on 9 Jan 2026.

The film stars Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Nidhi Agerwal as the female leads with the music tuned by Thaman. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, and Zarina Wahab in important roles.

The film's OTT deal has been delayed and speculation is on as to why it got delayed. Jio plus Hotstar is keen to acquire the rights but in the meantime, Ivy Entertainment who lent lot of money to the People Media Factory approached court against them.

Now Jio plus Hotstar is asking for the NOC from the People Media Factory and this is delaying in finalising the deal. People Media Factory is keen to clear all the dues before finalising the OTT deal and this may happen by November.
