Gopichand 33 gets a powerful title. Gopichand is known for his high octane mass action entertainers and he scored resounding hits and once hailed as the Nizam King. He endeared himself to all as Macho Star. However of late, Gopichand's films bombed at the box office.

He is now teaming with young and talented director Sankalp Reddy who scored a hit on debut with Ghazi to capture the imagination of all. Now the project referred to Gpichand33 was announced on Gopichand's birthday. The project is bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.

The first look poster of the film showed Gopichand in a unique and interesting manner and increased the interest levels among movie lovers. In the meantime, reports are coming that the makers are planning to name the film as Soola. The film is set in the 7th century and is based on real life incidents and brings to life a forgotten chapter of Indian heritage.

The makers already wrapped the first schedule in the picturesque locales of Kashmir in April, and the shoot has now resumed on a grand and massive set erected in Hyderabad.
