Japan adapts RRR for stage.The renowned all-female musical theatre troupe from Japan, The Takarazuka Revue, recently adapted SS Rajamouli's Oscar-winning film, 'RRR,' into a spectacular musical production. Rajamouli expressed his gratitude and shared pictures and videos from the show, praising the 110-year-old theatre group for their vibrant and captivating performance.

In his post on social media, Rajamouli wrote, "It's an honor that our RRR has been adapted as a musical by the 110-year-old Takarazuka company. Thank you, Japanese audience, for embracing the Broadway play of RRR just like the film itself. Overwhelmed by your response... Can't appreciate all the girls enough for your energy, talent, and meticulousness in the show."

Rajamouli concluded his post with the Japanese words "ARIGATO GOZAIMASU," translating to "Thank You" in English.

One of the videos shared by Rajamouli shows him graciously taking a bow as the audience erupts into a thunderous round of applause. He also took photos with the talented performers of the 'RRR' musical.

Fans celebrated this remarkable achievement and congratulated Rajamouli. Comments on his post expressed joy and admiration, with fans calling him the "Pride of India" and praising him as the "Raja of Indian Cinema."

'RRR' has been recognized with the Best Original Song awards at both the Golden Globes and Oscars. The film, which features a star-studded cast including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, and Samuthirakani, is loosely based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film's musical score is composed by MM Keeravaani.
