Nikhil rigorous training for Swayambhu. Nikhil Siddhartha is leaving no stone unturned in his preparations for the upcoming film "Swayambhu." In this period drama directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Nikhil takes on the role of a village youngster with dreams of becoming a soldier. 

His dedication to the role has led him to Vietnam, where he is undergoing 40 days of intense martial arts training.During breaks in his demanding training regimen, Nikhil shared, "I've begun rigorous training, and it's quite challenging."

His choice of Vietnam for training was deliberate, as the film features a variety of ancient weapons, some over a thousand years old. Nikhil wanted to learn from authentic fight masters and trainers in Vietnam. What's intriguing is that the stunt masters training him in Vietnam are also part of the film's crew.

Nikhil's training extends to mounted archery, a skill he needs for battle sequences where he must shoot arrows while riding a horse. He acknowledges the difficulty of this task and the necessity of proper training.While Nikhil previously underwent training in guns and weapon handling for his film "Spy," he emphasizes that the weapons in "Swayambhu" belong to a distinct era.

The film's period setting requires expertise in ancient and nearly forgotten combat techniques.The actor highlights that such training not only enhances his physical capabilities but also strengthens him mentally. He considers it a form of detox that boosts his confidence. Nikhil expresses his enthusiasm for costume dramas and considers himself fortunate to have landed this role.Beyond the physical aspects, Nikhil is delving into thorough research of the historical period. 

He's immersing himself in books and materials to absorb the character's traits and spending time with the director, who has dedicated five years to researching the project.Nikhil's decision to join "Swayambhu" came after the super success of "Karthikeya 2." He was drawn to the gripping script and captivating narration. He aims to transport the audience back to an ancient era with this film, promising a unique cinematic experience.
