Finally the result of Munugode by elections in Telangana, regarded as the mother of all elections came out. The ruling Trs party won the elections comfortably after the lead changed in the initial rounds. Trs won with a majority of 11,666 Votes over BJP. Trs and BJP put everything in stake considering it as a prestige in the run up to the 2024 elections.

Trs candidate K. Prabhakar Reddy was leading his nearest rival BJP contestant K. Rajagopal Reddy. Congress party candidate came a distant third losing the deposit. The elections are held after K. Rajagopal Reddy resigned from the Congress party. While Trs party celebrated the win with a victory March after the keenly fought election, BJP which conceded defeat however cried foul attacking the Trs party and CM KCR for influencing the elections luring voters with money and then threatening the voters with dire consequences that they will not get the benefits of the government schemes.

However it is not the smooth sailing for the Trs party as BJP candidate took lead where Trs ministers and even CM KCR was the incharge. It has to be seen the future course of action from the Trs and BJP parties.
