Swine-flu (H1N1) infections have once again surfaced in Hyderabad. In the past one week, six cases of Swine-flu have been identified at the Government General and Chest Diseases Hospital, Erragadda here.

It was recorded by hospital  authorities that Subba Rao, a 28-year-old person from Chandaunur in Rangareddy district died of Swine-flu  on Thursday.

Chest Diseases Hospital, Erragadda has the facility to diagnose, isolate and take critical care of suspected or confirmed Swine-flu patients.

All the six cases tested positive for Swine-flu are indigenous and none having been imported from abroad. What is worse, the virus is springing up sparcely across the country. The situation was not so in 2009. With  the weather cooling down  considerably there is scope for  swine flu to spread, say the medical  authorities.

The  medical experts have observed that those who were tested positive for Swine-flu in the city last year had a second Swine-flu attack.
