Cong workers bid to storm into Muddu house

Congress Party workers staged a dharna in front of Gali Muddu Krishnam Naidu’s house on Monday. Following  the unsavoury remarks made by Gali Muddu Krishnam Naidu against Congress president Sonia Gandhi in connection with the unprecedented rise in prices.

 The party workers who gathered in front of Muddu  Krishnam’s residence on Banjara hill tried to barge in. However, the police reached the  spot  in time and averted any  further  trouble. The workers were arrested and taken to Jubilee  Hill  Police  Station.

 Chief Minister  K Rosaiah expressed his  unhappiness over  Muddu’s  statement on Sonia Gandhi and conveyed  his  displeasure to Telugu  Desam delegates who  called  on  him on Monday morning.

The TDP leaders met him to sumit a memorandum in connection with the unauthorised projects taken up by Maharashtra Government over river Godavari.
