Child prodigy Sambhavi, who has been projected as an incarnation of a Buddhist monk associated with Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama was admitted to an English medium school at Dharmasala.

According to Sambhavi’s mother Usharani, the nine-year-girl has been admitted to the nursery class in the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Model School at Dharmasala. This amounts to her receiving formal education, she indicated.

‘‘We paid a fee of Rs 1225 for Sambhavi’s admission into the nursery class. The school with a strength of 675 students teaches up to class XI. We are trying to provide her music lessons privately,’’ Usha Rani revealed.

The State Human Rights Commission had directed that the child be immediately put in a school so that she could exercise her right to compulsory and free education.

It may also be mentioned here that Ms. Usha Rani has propagated that the child was a friend of the Dalai Lama in her previous birth and possessed supernatural powers. She said Sambhavi could foresee the future. After controversies about her parents, the Kurnool district Collector had sent Sambhavi for DNA tests and it was proved that  Usha Rani, who was till then claiming to be a relative was actually her mother.
