MIM to go alone in GHMC polls

 
The Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (MIM) will teach a fitting lesson to the ruling Congress party in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (Ghmc) elections scheduled to be held in October this year, said MIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi.With the State Elections Commission is preparing itself to conduct much awaited polls to the Ghmc, the MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi announced that the MIM would go alone in Ghmc elections without tie-up with any other parties.

He was speaking to media persons from his chambers after the Speaker suspended the MIM members from the House on Monday over the discussion on alleged irregularities in the construction of Indiramma houses.He said that the MIM would contest for all wards and he expressed confidence of sweeping all 150 wards.He said that the MIM would form third front with like-minded parties and contest the polls.He alleged that the Speaker behavoiour with the members is not upto the mark.
