There is  nexus  among the politicians, Government  officials and contractors, so the government should come out with clean hands in this matter, the Tdp  leaders claimed.

They urged the  Government  to cancel  all the contracts to the projects between Yellampally  and Polavaram  and  call for fresh tenders.

In  the past  when we  raised these corruption  charges in these projects, the Congress set it aside saying that we  are politicizing the issue.  Now it’s their own party men  who have leveled charges of corruption  against  Major  Irrigation  Minister  Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

``This  is no more an  internal party squabble.  It is a matter concerned with the public,’’ the Tdp leaders noted.
