Rajya Sabha member Nandamuri Harikrishna on Friday demanded that Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi make his party's stand clear on alliance with the Congress.
In a sharp reaction to the remarks of the actor-turned-politician, the TDP leader questioned as to why he had tied up with the corrupt Congress party. He asked the PRP leader to explain to people why he had tied up with the Congress.
Releasing a letter to the media, he said the PRP leader had cheated the people by claiming that PRP was an alternative to the Congress before the elections.
However, after losing in the electoral battle, the PRP leader lost confidence as many leaders deserting the party, he pointed out.
He said Chiranjeevi has no moral right to question TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu after tying up with Congress. He asked him to seek opinion of people before alliance with Congress.
He said the TDP leader has no need to learn lessons from the Chiranjeevi on alliances and tie-ups as Naidu had rich experience at national level.Because of uncertainty and wrong policies, people are quitting the PRP, he stated.
