Museums should be preserved: Geetha Reddy

``The museums manifest the artistic  craftsmanship of sculpture, paintings,  handicrafts and a variety of rare antique pieces which are of  great historical  and culture value,  so they need to be preserved,’’ said  J Geetha Reddy,  Minister for  Information.

Speaking on the  occasion of  World Museum Day, the  Minister urged the people to safeguard  the museums well.  She  inaugurated the  recently unearthed  gold coins  in the  state at the  AP State Museum in  Public  Gardens.

The AP State Museum offers a vibrant and fresh view of the culture and art of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the state’s oldest museum and one of its finest.
