The BSNL Andhra Pradesh circle has been allotted one slot of five megahertz for the 3G purpose. This service aimed at increasing the subscriber base to another 3.5 lakh, will virtually have the webworld in their mobiles at speeds as good as those on a computer.

The service provides opportunity to take video-phone snap shots, have mobile broadband, watch television through video streaming, push to talk screen shot and download music.

The tariff for prepaid connections is Rs 100 with local voice and video call charges at around 20 paise a minute on BSNL networks and 50 paise for other networks.
