Hyderabad, Feb 6: Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Saturday convened a review meeting on streamlining traffic in the city with Ministers and officials concerned at Jubilee Hall.The meeting discussed the deteriorating traffic situation in the State capital and the corrective measures being undertaken by succeeding police officials.The meeting discussed threadbare streamlining traffic in the city, synchronization of traffic signals, junction improvements and provision for scooter and car parking.

Lok Satta president Jai Prakash Narayanan opined the politicians should not interfere in management of traffic with police.MP Asauddin Owaisi promised that he would help in the removal of religious constructions for the smooth passage of traffic in the city.MLA Kishan Reddy urged the government not give permission for colleges and schools on main thoroughfares in the city as they further deteriorate the situation.The meeting also discussed imposing restrictions on movement of certain categories of vehicles in the city.After collecting opinion of all people’s representatives, the government would prepare an action plan to streamline traffic in the city, said Home Minister.Minister for Backward Classes Welfare Mukesh Goud and MLC  Nannapaneni Rajakumari also participated in the meeting.
