Hyderabad, Feb 2: The Telugu Desam leaders from Rayalaseema and coastal  Andhra led by former MP K Yerrannaidu met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday and requested him not to take any “hasty decision” while devising a roadmap on resolving the Telangana issue. The delegation expressed its solidarity against creation of separate Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. The TDP team made it clear that it is not opposed to the panel if the objective was to elicit opinions of people of all regions,

but it would face resistance if it took ‘unilateral decision’ on Telangana without consulting other regions. The panel should take into account the opinions of all sections, political parties, people in all the three regions, the delegation explained.Senior Congress leader Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy also met the Home Minister separately on Tuesday and discussed with him Telangana-related issues. He was also of the view that the panel should take into consideration the opinions of all sections of the people.
