India is facing challenges of black money and corruption: Venkaiah Naidu

Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the VUDA Children Arena and Children Theatre in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union minister said that India is facing challenges of Black money and corruption. Electronic and Digital transfer of money is the need of the hour. The demonetization measures initiated by Prime Minister Naredra Modi is aimed at containing black money and helps in providing direct Benefit transfer for the poorest of the poor.

Venkaiah Naidu further said that NDA Government initiated several welfare measures for children. Film festival will be held in Visakhapatnam in the next week.

While delivering the Inaugural address the union minister said that Vishakhapatnam is the jewel crown of Andhra Pradesh. VUDA Children Theatre is one of the best theatres in India. He hopes that Children Theater will promote entertainment, science and technology, literary programmes and preserve the Indian cultural heritage.

He urged the children not to forget motherland mother tongue and mother. Three day film festival will be conducted in Visakhapatnam soon. Nine patriotic films like Alluri Sitha Rama Raju, Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose,  Lokamanya Thilak , I Am Kalam, Iqbal, Sardar, Border, Lagan, Chak de India will be screened in this film festival. He also said that Krishi Vignan Kendra will be opened soon in Visakhapatnam.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and several state ministers of Andhra Pradesh, local MLAs, MPs have participated in the function.
