Rashmika Connects Project Annapurna With Her Upcoming Film Ranabaali

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly launched Project Annapurna, a charitable initiative designed to provide essential food supplies to 400 families across South India. The programme aims to support households facing food insecurity, with large food kits containing staple grains, pulses, cooking oil and other everyday kitchen essentials.
Each food kit reportedly includes 75 kg of rice, 10 kg of wheat flour, 15 kg of mixed pulses, 10 litres of cooking oil, ragi, spices and tea. The initiative covers eight locations, Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, Anantapur, Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai, Kodagu and Vijayawada, extending assistance across communities in several southern states.
Sharing the initiative on social media, Rashmika explained that helping others has always been close to her heart. She also linked the effort to Jayamma, her character in the upcoming film Ranabaali. The actress thanked her fans for their continued affection and support, while expressing her intention to keep contributing to causes that help people in need.
Meanwhile, Rashmika is preparing for Ranabaali, a historical drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan and starring Vijay Deverakonda. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026, according to the supplied information. With Project Annapurna drawing attention alongside her film commitments, Rashmika is bringing a social welfare initiative into the spotlight beyond her work on screen.
