Reoganisation of districts: Dy CM faces the heat

Protesting against the inclusion of Station Ghanpur, Jafargad, Chilpur in Jangaon district, a massive protest was organised on Saturday.

The protestors blocked the main road at Gandhi Chowrasta in Station Ghanpur leading to traffic blockade for over an hour. The JAC leaders demanded that these mandals be made part of Warangal Urban district.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari who was in the district was also stuck in the traffic jam. He met the JAC leaders and tried to persuade them to call off their stir. The all party leaders did not relent and demanded the Deputy CM to raise the issue with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The JAC leaders said that there was no need to inculde these mandals in Jangaon district and demanded that the Deputy CM ensure that these mandal remain part of the Warangal Urban district. 

The Deputy CM assured that he would raise the issue with the Chief Minister and would try to find solution to the issue soon.
