YSR Congress chief Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday lashed out at the AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accusing him of changing his stand on the special category status for state every now and then.

Speaking at the party’s youth convention, Yuvabheri, Jagan alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had compromised on the contentious issue for his personal gains. Jagan said that the TD chief during the elections had promised to get SCS for state at least for 15 years but went back on the promise. Chandrababu changed his stance very often like a chameleon changes its colour, Jagan mocked the TD chief.

Jagan said that the state lost on account of state bifurcation and only special status could compensate the loss. He said that the youth of the state hoped that they would get employment with the boost to industrial sector due to special status to the state. The youth of the state feel cheated and are now dejected with the denial of the special status to the state, the YSRC chief added.
