Geetha Reddy, Ponnala denies joining TRS

Former ministers Dr. J. Geetha Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Thursday dismissed rumours that they were joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Geetha Reddy said she had no plans to join the TRS. She said the participation in the anniversary of her mother Eshwari Bai does not change her party's affiliation. She said she would continue with the Congress party and described the reports of her exit as baseless.

Addressing a separate press conference, former TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah said he was not joining the TRS and accused KCR of playing mind games to demoralise the Congress cadre.
