Hyderabad,Dec 4:Following the instructions from Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Health Minister Danam Nagender on Friday visited the Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences to enquire about the health of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao,who is on an indefinite fast for six days for the cause of Telangana statehood.After enquiring about his condition with NIMS Director Prasada Rao,he met Kcr and urged him to give up his agitation as his life is valuable to the state government.

However,Kcr was not in a position to speak with him.According to sources,Kcr indicated that until the government makes its stand clear on Telangana issue, he would not drop his agitation.Meanwhile,a delegation of Telengana leaders met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Friday and urged him to make the government’s stand clear on the Telangana statehood issue.The Prime Minister assured the delegation that he would take a decision after discussing the issue with coalition partners.He also enquired about the health condition of Kcr.
