New Delhi,Dec 3: The Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Thursday said that Sonia Gandhi has asked him to deal the situation arising out of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhra Rao’s fast-unto-death agitation,carefully till a consensus on the issue emerges for Telangana statehood.Talking to media persons,the Chief Minister said he had briefed the Congress President Sonia Gandhi over the situation arising out of Telangana statehood agitation,KCR’s health and other developments in the state.The Chief Minister,who is in Delhi,had discussions with Sonia Gandhi,said Sonia had complete understanding over the issue. He said she had also enquired about the Rao’s health condition.

The Chief Minister said that the high command expressed concern over the reports of KCR’s deteriorating health.He said that Sonia Gandhi assured him to solve the problem at appropriate time.In the wake of deteriorating health and the State Human Rights Commission direction, the government had shifted him to NIMS, Hyderabad to save his valuable life from Khammam hospital,he stated.Mr Rosaiah said he is in constant touch with the Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, chief secretary P Ramakanth Reddy and DGP R R Girish Kumar on the issue.
