Telugu Desam Party chief and Chief designate of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday advised his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao to restrain from making provocative statements.

Addressing a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Naidu condemned KCR's recent remarks on Seemandhra employees. He said that the Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR has the responsibility of providing security to everyone in the new State. He said all political parties and leaders in Telangana and Seemandhra should work for the betterment of Telugu speaking people and avoid hurting each other's sentiments. He claimed that he brought global recognition for Hyderabad after much struggle. Citing an instance, he said he took lot of pain in brining Microsoft to Hyderabad.

Naidu said that the TDP would work for the development of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. He said both the States should witness growth and injustice should not be done to anyone. He said both the States should compete with other in development.

He informed that he would take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at an auspicious time immediately after June 2, the Appointed Day.

The TDP chief also confirmed his participation in the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India. He said he was working closely with Modi in the interest of the nation, especially the Telugu speaking people.

Earlier, Naidu called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and discussed several issues including bifurcation of State, division of employees and allocation of IAS and IPS officers. His meeting with the Governor lasted for about two hours.
