Andhra Pradesh Congress Manifesto Committee chairman Anam Ramnarayana Reddy on Wednesday dismissed the reports that appeared in a section of media about shortage of candidates in the Seemandhra region.

Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, Anam said that the list of ticket aspirants from all the constituencies in the Seemandhra region was huge. He claimed that the list of aspirants is so long that the Congress leaders were finding it difficult to shortlist them. However, he said that the suitable candidates for the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections would be shortlisted and would be sent to the Congress High Command for final approval.
