Congress not serious about Telangana, alleges Motkupalli

Telugu Desam Telangana Forum Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Wednesday alleged that the Congress party was not serious about the formation of Telangana.

Addressing a press conference here, Motkupalli said that if the Congress party was serious about Telangana, then it should convince its party's legislators to support the Telangana Bill. However, he said that the Congress MLAs were in the forefront in stalling the proceedings of the State Legislative party. Further, he alleged that the Congress was having a secret pact with the YSR Congress Party. He said that the YSRCP MLAs were staging protest in the House on the instructions of Chief Minsiter N Kiran Kumar Reddy's instructions.

When as to why the TDP MLAs from Seemandhra region were stalling the proceedings, Motkupalli said that they were doing so to prevent the other parties from hijacking the issue. He appealed to all Seemandhra legislators to stop enacting "political drama" in the Assembly.
