Cong MP backs KCR's Telangana move

Nizamabad,Nov 17: Reiterating his support for separate Telangana state, Congress MP from Nizamabad,Madhu Yashki on Tuesday expressed his solidarity with Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is launching a fast-unto-death at Siddipet in Medak district on Nov 29 demanding a separate Telangana state.
Describing KCR’s proposed fast as the final battle for statehood, he said the TRS cadres and the people at large should be prepared for it and extend support to him for the cause of Telangana.

Talking to media persons,the MP said when KCR unveiled his plans to Chief Minister K Rosaiah at his residence, he responded positively and agreed to favour formation of the Telangana state.Madhu Yashki also recalled the comments of AICC chief Sonia Gandhi, who came here to address conventions at Secunderabad and Karimnagar,and had stated that the Congress favoured a separate Telangana state.Though the TRS leader was working for formation of separate Telangana to fulfil the promises made in the  party manifesto and agenda, Madhu Yashki said, “I will rise above political considerations to work for the Telangana cause.”
