BJP National Vice-President Bandaru Dattatreyya on Monday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy resign from his post immediately.

Addressing a press conference here, Dattatreyya said that the Chief Minister has failed to run the State Government, lost confidence of his cabinet colleagues and also at war with the Congress High Command. Therefore, he said that the Chief Minister had no moral right to continue on the post. He said that Kiran Kumar Reddy has been touring the State without having any support from his party or cabinet colleagues.

Referring to the meeting of YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy with BJP President Rajnath Singh on Sunday in New Delhi, Dattatreyya said that Jagan has been clearly told the BJP would not go back on its stand on Telangana. However, the BJP would support a good package for the Seemandhra region after the bifurcation.
