BJP State President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the Group of Ministers (GoM) was not serious on the bifurcation issue.
Kishan Reddy, who made representation to the GoM on Tuesday in the national capital, told reporters here that the GoM did not adopt a proper procedure to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh. However, he said that Telangana would be reality and the BJP would play a crucial in passing the Telangana Bill in the Parliament. Besides supporting the Telangana Bill, he said that the BJP would strongly present the case of Seemandhra region by seeking special packages for its development.
The BJP leader said that the BJP has been fighting for the cause of Telangana since beginning and it would maintain its stand till its formation. He slammed the ruling Congress party for presenting a divided opinion on the issue. He also condemned the TDP and YSRCP for opposing the bifurcation move. He alleged that both TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy were hoping to become Chief Ministers of united Andhra Pradesh after next elections.
Kishan Reddy also condemned former minister Dr P Shankar Rao's announcement that he would build a temple for Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He said that the Congress leaders should first focus on solving the problems of Telangana and Seemandhra people after bifurcation and then build temples for over 1,000 martyrs of Telangana.

GoM not serious on Telangana, alleges Kishan Reddy

The YSR Congress Party on Wednesday reiterated that it was against the division of Andhra Pradesh under any circumstances.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the Group of Ministers (GoM), YSRCP representatives Dr MV Mysoora Reddy and Gattu Ramachandra Rao said that they handed over an eight-page letter to the GoM opposing every step taken towards the bifurcation of the State. "Our Party demands with clarity and conviction that the State should be united, and should not be divided under any circumstances," Mysoora Reddy said.
"We cannot endorse the decision taken by the union cabinet on October 3, 2013 to split the State as it is not acceptable to us. Over 75 per cent of the State population is opposing the division tooth and nail and is protesting for the past three-and-a-half months in an unprecedented way as we the people of the state firmly believe that the division would adversely affect the future generations for hundreds of years to come. Yet, neither the Centre nor the ruling Congress Party is in a position to heed and honour the feelings of the people or to the parties that have been voicing the concern of the people," YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy said in the representation submitted to the GoM.
"The motive behind the setting up of the GoM, certainly, is not to address the democratic protests of the region and to review the Centre&rsquo;s decision. It is obvious that the Centre wants to go ahead with the division even if it causes immense damage to both the regions," Jagan said.
The YSRCP equated the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to the infamous Partition of Bengal in 1905 by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India and alleged that the AICC was adopting the same British ideology of Divide and Rule. It alleged that the bifurcation was not transparent or democratic. "Though the Centre has the power to divide the State, can it take decisions without any concrete basis and rationality? The Centre does not recognize the fact that Andhra Pradesh state was formed on recommendations of the State Reorganization commission (SRC) which regrouped the states on linguistic basis in 1955. After 66 years of independence and 63 years of constitution in force, and 57 years of unification of Andhra Pradesh, can the Centre create a wedge between regions and decide to divide the state with political motives for gaining votes and seats? Is it justified?" asked the YSRCP.
The YSRCP also questioned the Centre's decision on bifurcating the State on October 3, 2013 without the consent of the State Assembly. "Public opinion and the State Assembly are the genuine basis for any decision. In that case without taking the Assembly into confidence, why were things taken so far, by setting up of GoM which in turn is seeking reports from concerned department secretaries and parties?" it asked.

The writing and screenplay did not inspire any confidence and direction failed to justice in any manner.With routine and outdated story and despite the claims of based on real life incidents, the film failed to generate interest. There is not a single scene in the film that generated interest among movie lovers. Everything turned out to be a tedious watch. Even the so called comedy scenes looked forced and senseless. The romantic track turned out to be another weak point and the entire second half which revolves around finding the missing bison, is redundant with repetitive scenes testing the patience of the viewers. The pre climax and climax are stretched to the core and finally when the film ended, viewers heave a sigh of relief.Prashanth R. Vihari, Bipradeep Dutta's tunes are just ok. The background score is fine but the substandard story couldn't be elevated by their efforts. The cinematography of Prasanth Ankireddy is below standard, disappointing all. Editing of Sai Babu Talari offered nothing much and he left many scenes unattended. All the interesting elements in The entire first half failed in the execution and everything turned bland.Many expected the second half to be better and save the day. However much to the disappointment , it turned even worse. The unraveling of the twists in the complex mission looked illogical and are bereft of interesting twists and thrills.The pre climax and climax are stretched to the maximum and it became a painful watch on the screen. None of the scenes excite viewers turning the entire experience into a disappointing affair.Sam.CS has tuned music. The film has no songs and the background music didn't add value to the narration. The background music left a lot to be desired. In fact it looked out of sync and outdated. Altogether it ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The cinematography of George C Williams is good. But there are many scenes and characters that looked forced and out of sync to the story.While the first half after the initial confusion, turns interesting in the run up to the interval and brings an end setting to the exciting second half, the second half sinks even further. There are many unnecessary characters and the flat narration and uninspiring execution played the spoil sport. The flashback episodes undoes all the good intentions. Everything ended up irritating and testing the patience of the viewers.The music and background tuned by Jakes Bejoy turned out to be a disappointing affair. In this film, the age gap is reduced to just around 13 years unlike in Vishwanath &amp; Sons where it was more than 20 years.Right from the start till the finish, Girish AD included many scenes and hilarious elements to bring smiles and create a laughing riot in the theatres. The first half sails through smoothly with racy screenplay and sets the stage for the second half. However the second half falls apart with slow narration. He tried to continue in the same vein in the second half but he over did the comedy scenes and made viewers feel that the story is heading nowhere.There are many predictable elements in the second half and once the director's intention is known in the first half, viewers get disconnected . Couple of scenes that come with twists may surprise common viewers but those who are used to watch such films find them predictable. But once those twists are revealed it is just a matter of time as to how the proceedings are brought to a logical conclusion.The first half filled with romantic and bold scenes is in complete contrast to the second half filled with couple of twists. There are many female actresses but none of them got a powerful role to make an impact. Geetu Mohan Das tried to attract viewers with brother sister relationship, father -son sentiment and many romantic elements but everything looks disjointed and ended up testing the patience of all and irritating them.Even when people wait patiently praying for the end, they will get another shock in the pre climax and climax with psychological elements. The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. The direction turned out to be a huge disappointment. The script turned out to be lackluster. Dialogues are just ok and dubbing made the matters worse.Geetu Mohan Das completely failed to do justice to the stardom of Yash and his character turned listless and aimless on the screen. When the main character itself turned out in this way, one can imagine the characterisation of other roles. What surprises all is that the director did not include a female lead in the film. He showed the female character as the sister to the three main characters.The dialogues are entertaining and natural, and none of them look forced and out of sync. The interval bang is done well turning the first half into a decent one. The second half continues in the same manner, and the screenplay and narration goes in a smooth and sedate manner.However for all the positives, the director after highlighting the conflict point and establishing it quite well, ends the film in a flat manner, disappointing all.The cinematography of SVK showed the Hyderabad old city vibes in a natural and realistic way. He used the camera angles to perfection and showed the nightlife and also the day hustles quite well and in an effective manner.The background score of Smaran Sai is good and complemented the proceedings, adding value to the narration. He came up with foot-tapping songs highlighting the old city culture and Deccani flavor. The editing of Rohit Penumasta is ok but could have been better, as there are a few drags that slowed the pace of the narration. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Wednesday warned the Centre against any injustice towards the Telangana State.
Talking to reporters here, Kodandaram said that the people of Telangana would not tolerate any injustice or discrimination towards the Telangana State during or after its formation. He said that the Telangana State should enjoy equal rights on par with other States in the country. He said that any move to confine the freedom and powers of Telangana would be opposed.
Kodandaram said that the TPJAC leaders would visit the national capital again when the Telangana Bill gets introduced in the Parliament. He said that the JAC would continue its struggle till it achieves a perfect Telangana.
