Bus fire mishap: DNA test to ascertain identity of 14 victims

The identity of as many as 14 people who were killed in the tragic fire mishap of Jabbar Travels bus is yet to be ascertained.

According to officials, as many as 14 bodies which were charred beyond recognition, would be identified through DNA tests. As many as 28 blood samples of victims' relatives have been taken and the DNA report is likely to come within a week. Meanwhile, the authorities have made arrangements to assist the relatives who came from far off places to identify the victims.

It may be mentioned that as many as 45 passengers were killed when the bus of Jabbar Travel coming from Bangalore to Hyderabad caught fire near Palem in the early hours of Wednesday.
