The Congress-led Upa Government appears to have hastened the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana State.

A day after Union Home Ministry constituted a Task Force headed by former Director General of CRPF K Vijayakumar to study AP's bifurcation, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday requested the elected representatives and others to submit their suggestions to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana by November 5.

"I appeal to all the people to give concrete suggestions which can be taken into cognizance by the GoM and include them in the Telangana Bill. We must include the best provision in the bill which should in the interest of both Seemandhra and Telangana," Digvijay Singh told reporters here.

It may be mentioned that the GoM will meet again here on November 7 and it is most likely to have reports from many departments which it sought in its last meeting. Sources say that the Centre plans to complete the process of AP's bifurcation in the next six weeks and introduce the Bill in the Parliament by December 7.
