Much depends on the relation between Jagan and Sonia: Neduramalli

Nellore,  Nov  12: Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, known as Jagan, MP from Kadapa, is in the good books of Congress president  Sonia Gandhi and she will use Jagan at the right time for the right purpose at the right level. But, Jagan will have to be patient and bide by the High Command’s instruction to prove his leadership, feels former chief minister and Congress veteran, Mr Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy.Interacting with the  media and speculating on Jagan’s future,  the former chief minister said that so far Jagan is able to get along with the Congress High Command well.

 Sonia knows  when to draft Jagan into state politics and in what capacity he could be used to strengthen the Congress party in the state.After the death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy there is a void in the state Congress and it takes time to  overcome this setback. Referring to Jagan’s leadership in the state, the senior Congress leader felt that all depends on the relationship between Sonia and Jagan.Nedurmalli, the Congress Working Committee member, has a considerable clout in the Congress circles and his views are taken into consideration before drafting any final decision.

Against this background the former chief minister’s comments on Jagan throw a lot of insight into actually what is happening inside the Congress circles about Jagan.The CWC member who has been lying low for the past six years again shot into limelight recently with the Congress High command summoning him to Delhi to express his views on the prevailing political scenario in the state.About the recent outburst of Tealangan Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekahra Rao (KCR), he said this is not the time for him to respond to KCR’s statements. “I will  respond to his statements at an appropriate time,” he added.
