The Union Minister for Tourism, Dr.Chiranjeevi, inaugurated Visakha-Bheemili corridor on 4th May, 2013. A whopping of Rs.48 crores would be contributed by the center for the development of this project. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi revealed that the center has already spent Rs.221 crores for the past six months for the state tourism  development. 

Meanwhile, entire coastal region will be developed between Visakha and Bheemili in this project.  The basic motive of developing this project is to attract tourists not only from different states of India but also from abroad. Many parks, public toilets, plantation and beautification of the beaches are the highlights of this project.
